Busy trip to Nebraska!

I was lying in bed thinking about all the fun we had in Nebraska and as I was thinking of all we did and all the people we saw...I thought to myself, “no wonder it took us a few weeks to recover now that we're back!”
Here's a quick list of everyone we got to see (we'll try to catch the rest of you next visit!):
ALL of our family, some even a few times!! Our family list included all the kids' GREAT grandparents, Gma and Papa Boggs, Gma Shirley, Great Uncle Mike & Barb, Cousin Wendy & Joey, Aunt Amy and Aunt Alissa, Uncle Troy & Aunt Shany, Uncle Seth & Aunt Megan, Adorable nieces Adysen, Emma & McKenna, and Chubby Cute Newest Nephews Ethan and Jack
*Friends Richard and Melissa & sweet Owen – we left 2 days before she gave birth to their twin boys!
*Friend Traci and sweet kids Brenna & Gavin- known and loved her since high school and how awesome that she made the trek to see us, the kids are just getting SO big & are super funny
*Friends Patrick and Danna – we met their gorgeous baby girl from Ethiopia & cool teen house guest Stephanie, they're rockin' with six now at their house, I tell you, these people who try to compete...
*Friend Jean and new husband Neal – cute couple~
*Friend Greta and sons Aaron & Zack – the boys caught up within minutes, fun conversations
*Our entire small group Bible study friends, Kanzmeiers, Boganowskis, Lueders, even the Claytons from TX! Browns & Mahoneys- we'll have to catch you next time
*Friends and Heroes, Brock and Stephanie Emery & girls – Brock insisted on going to Iraq in Chad's place when Grant was due to be born (04), hence Grant's middle name *Grant Emery* what a guy
*Chad's best buds from his Iron Man men's bible study group
*Bunches of friends from our church King of Kings, we said it was like a reunion minus food! Fun stuff
We hiked at Fontanelle forest, worked out at the hanger/gym on base, hit the dollar movie theater, played at our favorite old playgrounds, ate out with Chad's supervisors (compliments of the ELCA, ask us later) while my sisters watched the kids, went to an Omaha Royals baseball game, enjoyed family time at the Amazing Pizza Machine, had lots of water play in Fremont & different hotels, the kids took turns spending overnight time with the grandparents, we enjoyed the Antelope County fair complete with demolition derbies in a last minute short whirlwind trek “back home” to the area we grew up which is about three hours from the base where Chad did his training. All of this amongst Chad's preaching, officiating a funeral, and just plain being together as a family again after a seven week separation. I even caught an evil stomach bug that had me pretty miserable for a good week and half, and the kids passed a cold the last few days we were there, but I declare...God is so good!
