Ponce a little time (Isabel's cute new phrase for Once Upon a Time) there was a homeschooling family of eight who followed the Daddy of the family to an Air Force Base in South Dakota for five weeks. While the Daddy enjoyed all his chaplain experiences, they did a ton of touristy things and spent the last two weeks of their trip going to base picnics and parks, watching the Daddy compete in a canoe competition, visiting the Cosmos, traveling the wildlife loop of Custer State Park, and seeing a Laser light show on Crazy Horse Mountain to celebrate it's sculptor's birthday. The grandma and grandpa of this family also came for a fun visit of miniature golf, laser tag, bumper cars, water park fun and shopping.This family has waited a very long time to have a place to call "home" and so it is with great excitement that they will soon travel back to Red Cloud, Nebraska and begin living. The Daddy will be installed at his two churches on the 20th of September and the rest of the family will begin their school year full force. Lots to look forward too.
