Friends from the Chicago area, that we met at the seminary, came for a visit to Nebraska. So...we tried to show them a good time. I used Isaiah, our precious godson to help illustrate.
We played at the park...
Had numerous water fights...
Laughed A LOT...
Met their puppy...
Went to a farm and picked mulberries...
Went fishing (I know this isn't actually of the fishermen/women, but it was so cute and taken
during the fishing excursion) ...
Traveled to our mutual friends, The Hedstroms (also seminary friends) and toured the Round Barn (the only one in the world!)...
Loved on kittens here and there...
Had the BEST fireworks display hosted by our responsible sons, with plenty of baby cuddle time...
Got caught up...which was so so nice...
And even went to a small town parade!
We had SO MUCH fun! Thank you Swansons for making the trek to come see us!! My friend Anne and I would laugh over how we'd gather for a meal and say to each other, "Who's missing? This doesn't seem like enough" There were 10 kids! We were only missing our two oldest, who went with their pastor/dads to the NYG. Gotta love large family friends!
