A few weeks ago our dear friends, Richard and Melissa along with their three boys made the trek to Red Cloud to visit us and spend a few days with us. We LOVED seeing them again, it was hard to pick out just a few pictures of their visit. So, I'll share a few of my favorites. The boys are really close in age to some of ours, Owen is three months younger than Grant and Jack and Ben are three months younger than Asher. It was so much fun watching all the kids zipline, wrestle, eat smores and play on the playground. The kids especially liked flying on the zipline with Owen and watching "the twins" Jack and Ben who are identical but we all had them figured out by spending some time together. It's amazing how God can create two little beings so identical and yet so much their own person, just precious. When they were walking toward each other it was as though they were looking in the mirror! We've known Richard and Melissa since being stationed in England, even before they were married. They were in our small group bible study, so we've probably known them about 13 years. Melissa visited us in Iceland right before their wedding and then we were stationed at Offutt AFB together in Bellevue, so spent another three years together there. So we go way back and look forward to seeing them more now that we're back in the Husker State, and after you see these pictures you can see why we love those godsons of ours.
