Saying "Goodbye"

I wanted to share another one of God's prayer requests granted.  One of my concerns before moving to our small town (population: >1000) was: homeschool support.  Normally, a family who educates their children at home is able to keep quite busy with all the educational demands - in addition to chores, meals, appointments, etc.  But getting together with other families who share that common commitment to their families, is really special, plus it provides great opportunities for the children.  Here's a picture of 7 families in our area, getting together for a taco feast that we hosted. We were gathered to say "goodbye" to one of the families, who were moving to Minnesota.  It was sad to see them go, but what an opportunity to reflect on the blessing of support.  We get together for skating and bowling once a year, but other than that, we see each other when it fits into each other's schedule.  Just look at what the Lord can do!  Another bonus: the family who replaced the family that left (they were also in the ministry) also homeschool ;).
